Medical Strategy Powerful Enough To Deal With Biological Warfare.

Here is the wrong strategy that cancer specialists are using. One that cannot be expected to work reliably. Here is a situation analogous to what they are doing.

This lady has Lymes disease. She tried using MMS to kill the bugs. The list of pathogens that MMS WON’T kill is very short. And you will see by her testimony that the MMS was killing the bugs. But it was leaving her body as the perfect site for these bugs to keep coming back and thriving.

This is what I told her. I just told her something that by now she almost definitely will have figured out:

“I guess someone has already told you this. But the MMS is an electron stealer. Lymes disease is usually characterised by low pH. Which is the situation where all these critters wake up and give you trouble. So you need the dual strategy of raising your pH and using the MMS. If you were to use ionised water first, until you had pulled up your pH, then the MMS would finish off anything that was still giving you trouble.”

This is an analogous situation to what the cancer specialists are doing to their patients. Okay yes I’m sure they are making some apple-pie statements about eating healthily.

But the cancer specialists are putting, or tend to be putting, their patients in the exact same position as this poor girl had found herself in. You can keep killing bugs forever and a day. And there you are with these dead bugs in your system and the perfect growing room for more bugs to come along. The two-way strategy I proposed to her would work for almost any infection. In fact it would work for an attack using biological warfare. And it would amount to the only viable known strategy for such an attack.

Of course there is much more to what the paradigm-maker Jerry Tennant does in his system for healing. But this crude two-way strategy ought to be immensely powerful. And it could in principle be dirt cheap.

The online tool Wikipedia Scanner also demonstrates that Wiki is heavily edited by powerful organisations, such as the CIA, the Vatican, US government funded agencies, news corporations, banks and embassies.”

Does even one person doubt the broad thrust of this claim? Why? Why do you doubt such a claim? Given the goals of these agencies, they would obviously be remiss NOT TO have some sort of project in this direction. Only conservatives would be so stupid as to not have a project like this on the fly.

  2. “Grow your potatoes in soil with a pH between 5.0 and 6.0. Potatoes grown in soils with a higher pH seem prone to a disease called ‘scab’, which produces rough spots on the potato.”

Such considerations just a little bit difficult for the smug set at Catallaxy and for the cancer specialists.

Note that though the potato itself is fully encased in the slightly acidic soil, but when it is ready for sale, it is likely to be mildly alkaline. So clearly the electrical energy is going through the leaves and into the potato itself.

The air will be about neutral one would think. The sun will produce electrical flow through the plant all the way to the roots. Hence the mature potato is able to be alkaline if raw.

The internet has given me a soil pH range for Garlic of 6.5-7.0. And yet the garlic, though also fully encased in the soil, has a pH of at least 7.3. So we see this principle of electrical movement through the organism. This is likely to be the case for every organism.

  3. Greetings, comrade,

Now that Comrade Kerry has abandoned his post, would you consider applying for a job as host of the 7.30 report?

  4. If I could get the job I’d do it. But its not as if I could get the job. Since I’m not a lefty, I’m not eligible for an ABC job, unless I was brought in to appease the board under the token conservative ticket.

  5. Seriously. Where did the irresponsible and murderous idiocy of everyone come from with cancer?

We had the exact same idiocy from Mark Hill, JohnH, Cambria, Jason Soon, Steve from Brisbane.

Where does this anti-knowledge come from?

I was completely mugged by it and there is no answer to it even now. This is evil. People dying of cancer all the time. Immense suffering. And this anti-knowledge out there ready to pounce on anyone who wants to survive this problem.

  6. The Gullible JohnH posts the following link:

“Damn there is some interesting research going on in physics. How did they achieve such precision!

Clocks work faster with less gravity. Its all about the clocks. Nothing to do with time.

  7. “Scientists have known for decades that time passes faster at higher elevations”

Bullshit on many grounds. This does not represent special relativity. Nor the opinion of scientists. Nor the actuality of it. Nor the historical position of special relativity advocates. In fact this is the first time I remember anyone making this claim. John H lapped it all up of course.

  8. Obama all but admits his Muslim status. Newflash. Andrew Reynolds isn’t aware of evidence. Praying to Allah in the White House with other Muslims is a bit of a giveaway I would have thought.

  9. Check out the compulsive liar Mark Hill:

“Jesus….and Bird wants us to pump our blood full of clorox for an ineffective cancer “treatment”.”

Total lie. Lying in all aspects of what he is saying here. For starters cancer cannot survive in a high pH environment. Secondly I’ve never once mentioned clorox. What a cunt hey? Lying like that.

    What a fucking moron.

  10. Mark Hills lying outburst comes from the following:

“A Dutch-German medical research team led by Harald Schmidt from Maastricht University, Netherlands, and Christoph Kleinschnitz, University of Wurzburg, Germany, has discovered that an enzyme is responsible for the death of nerve cells after a stroke. The enzyme NOX4 produces hydrogen peroxide, a caustic molecule also used in bleaching agents. Inhibition of NOX4 by an experimental new drug in mice with stroke dramatically reduces brain damage and preserves brain functions, even when given hours after the stroke.”

The production of hydrogen per oxide is absolutely vital for killing infections. But it works as an ELECTRON THIEF. The errant bacteria or virus is surrounded by the white blood cell and its electrons are stolen by way of the production of hydrogen peroxide.

While hydrogen peroxide is an electron thief in this micro-sense alkalised water adds electrons to the body in the macro sense.

But then again if your body is low pH you have a lot of trouble producing this hydrogen peroxide. So that for example with Lymes disease, since the sufferer has a low pH, they have trouble fighting all the bugs that come alive in their system with this low pH.

But there goes Mark Hill, endlessly ignorant and endlessly dishonest. Lying all the time. A complete cunt.

    • Fucking fractional reservist bastard

  11. “Such strategies could very much extend life beyond 120 years but post 100 years there would be a rather constant battle with cancer emergence. We’re getting a lot better at that too, it has long been known that the immune system recognises many cancers but refuses to attack the same. It is only in the last few years that the reasons for this have become much clearer. It is my belief that ultimately the best strategy for addressing cancer will be very much immunologically oriented.”

So says JohnH. But according to JohnH pH is not important. This is despite the fact that cancer comes when pH is in the 6.48 range.

In terms of voltage our cells like -25 millivolts. We need -50 millivolts to make new cells. Whereas cancer is native to +30 millivolts. Not important according to JohnH. This is the stupidity that has infected our cancer experts.

  12. Since when has an electrical appliance been a scam? We are losing the gift of sound language. I’ve been looking around the web and the accusation of alkalisers being a scam seems to be coming from a few sources to whit:

    1. The knee-jerk “debunkers” of the centre-left mindless skeptics crowd. Such people can be relied upon to stick up for every proven wrong mainstream idea and to get in the way of any new development THAT DOESN’T PROCEED OUTWARDS FROM AUTHORITY ITSELF. So if a well-known lefty specialist in medical research had actually commissioned the invention of the alkaliser then that would be okay.

    2. Manufacturers of non-alkalising water-purification equipment. They would seem to be fighting obsolescence.

    3. There is a mental association out there with multi-level-marketing being a scam. Not everyone is suited to the AMWAY lifestyle. And part of it involved your upline making out that he was doing better than he likely was. I don’t recall Amway lying about their products however. Hard-selling all your friends and family to be part of what is a bit of a cultish operation is not for everyone. There is no evidence to suggest however that MLM lends itself to rank fraudulence. Quite the contrary since the network is built by people using the networks products. There would be the tendency to exaggerate the worth of the product. But not to lie about it. However I’m not going in for any MLM deal. I haven’t seen this deal available in Australia. I’ll just buy the machine straight up.

So as we see there is nothing in these claims. The idiot Cambria made a link which said it was a scam. But there was no scientific substance to the link.

So I”ve been out and about a bit launching a bit of a counter-argument to all the jive that is going down out there.

  13. From elsewhere:

No thats all wrong. Your body DOESN’T tightly regulate pH. Only a healthy persons body regulates pH tightly. All chronic disease is characterised by low pH. Furthermore to heal an injury you need higher pH. Now the argument could be made that a person who is entirely healthy doesn’t need to input more voltage. Since he’s entirely healthy. Well duh???!!!!! Thats merely tautological.

Every horticulturalist knows the importance of pH. The pH of soil has to be just a little lower than the pH of the plant that will grow in it. This provides movement of electricity around the organism. Also ph can be chosen to make it hard for a significant parasitical threat to this plant.

Now simple obvious stuff that everyone knows escapes the notice of our cancer specialists. Not only do you have to have the right pH. You need electrical movement around the body. Which would best be assisted by infusing oneself with alkalised water. Body surfing in the ocean would also be an excellent way of adding voltage. But there can be no question that drinking ionised water is a very powerful alternative.

  14. “I think You mean “alkaline water” here. Alkaline water is also known as “ionized water”. Ionized water is claimed by manufacturers to be extremely beneficial to human health and marketed with claims that it is an antioxidant which can slow aging and prevent disease. Others note that such claims contradict basic laws of chemistry and physiology.”

No the claims do not do this. But the implied counter-claim that pH is not important goes against the reality that every cell and every organism is an electrical system. For two long scientists have been studying chemical minutiae and missing the bigger picture of the body as an electrical system.

Each individual cell has its voltage specification, just like your refrigerator. And the body must have electrical movement all through it to maintain itself. Further to that, every parasite has its own preferred pH range. And the cancer preferred voltage is plus 30 millivolts or pH 6.48.

If you have an alkaliser and a Tennant biomodulater its very hard to see how the cancer cells can hide from your efforts to take them out and take them down. They cannot run, they cannot hide, they must therefore die.

  15. Stupid Cunts.

  16. I haven’t gone through any of the following studies in the way I’ve poured through global warming reports. I’m not likely to get around to it since to me its a done deal. But just to show that there is some research out there despite claims to the contrary:

Suppression of Invasion of Cancer Cells and Angiogenesis by Electrolyzed Reduced Water.

Invasion and metastasis of cancer cells are main causes of cancer patient death.

Cancer cells also secrete VEGF, which stimulates angiogenesis to develop tumor tissues. The suppression of invasion/metastasis and angiogenesis is an urgent target for prevention of cancers.

Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) is anti-oxidative water, which contains high concentration of dissolved hydrogen and can scavenge intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS). ERW contains a small amount of platinum nanocolloids as atomic hydrogen (active hydrogen) donors and ROS-scavengers.

Here, we report the effect of ERW on invasion of human fibrosarcoma HT1080 cells and HT1080 cells-induced angiogenesis. ERW was prepared by electrolysis of 0.002 M NaOH solution using a batch-type electrolysis device (Type TI-200S, Nihon Trim Co., Osaka, Japan).

ERW scavenged hydrogen peroxide both in cells and medium. The RT-PCR and zymographic analysis revealed that ERW suppressed the expression and activation of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2). ERW was estimated to inhibit invasion by suppressing the phosphorylation of p38 MAP kinase. ERW also suppressed the expression and secretion of VEGF in HT1080 cells by suppressing the phosphorylation of ERK MAP kinase. ERW suppressed the HT1080 cells-induced angiogenesis by human blood endothelial cells, suggesting that ERW may be useful for prevention and treatment of cancer.

  17. Electrolytic reduced water suppresses the invasive metastasis of human fiber sarcoma cells.

From US patent #6475371, published Nov. 11, 2002

Abstract: Electrolytic reduced water free of hypochlorous acid and chlorine gas is provided which is effective for cancer treatment. Water including NaOH is subjected to electrolysis. Electrolytic reduced water obtained at a cathode electrode side has been found to suppress metastasis of cancer cells. The water had no effects on growth of healthy cells during a one-week test.

    Extract:
The evaluation results of cancer cell metastasis inhibiting effects of the obtained electrolytic reduced water (with electrolyzed degree of 5 in Table 1) will be described.

FIG. 3 shows the inhibiting effects of the electrolytic reduced water against highly metastatic human fiber sarcoma cell strains HT1080 in a metastasis model system in vitro. Here, HT1080 cells available from a cell bank (e.g., JCRB Cell Bank or ATCC (in U.S.A.)) were employed.

The HT1080 cells were cultured in 10% fetal bovine serum added MEM medium at a temperature of 37.degree. C. under 5% CO.sub.2 /95% air environment. A chemotaxel filter (pore size: 8 .mu.m) was coated with matrigel of 25 .mu.g/filter. Sub-confluent HT1080 cells were suspended in the MEM medium containing 0.1% bovine serum albumin (BSA) and the number of cells was adjusted to 4.times.10.sup.5 /ml. 200 .mu.l of the resultant was added to a chamber in its upper room. Immediately after addition of the cells, 700.mu. of the MEM (Minimum Essential Medium; medium including the least possible amount of nutritious ingredients) containing 10 .mu.g/ml of fibronectin was added to the chamber in its lower room (having a 24 holes plate) (a 24 holes plate side), and cultured in a CO.sub.2 incubator. After six hours have passed, the chamber was taken out. Cells were removed from the upper surface of the filter with a cotton bud, and moved to the 24 hole s plate containing WST-1 (an indicator that changes its color depending on metabolic ability specific to living cells, or the number of living cells). After culture for 16 hours, absorbance at 450 nm was measured. Referring to FIG. 3, “ctrl” represents the result when purified water was used, and “NaOH mix” represents the result when the electrolytic reduced water obtained with electrolyzed degree of 5 in Table 1 was used. As seen from FIG. 3, invasive metastasis of HT1080 cells is dramatically reduced in the case of NaOX mix compared to the case of ctrl.

This means that the electrolytic reduced water has suppressed the invasive metastasis of the human fiber sarcoma cells.

  18. Suppression of Two-stage Cell Transformation by Electrolyzed Reduced Water/Platinum Nanocolloids.

    From:
The Society for In Vitro Biology
2004 World Congress on In Vitro Biology, May 22-26, 2004. (presented May 23rd, 2004)

    R. NISHIKAWA, K. Teruya, Y. Katakura, K. Otsubo, S. Morisawa, and S. Shirahata. Dept. of Genetic Resources Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Kyusyu Univ., 6-10-1 Hakozaki, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka 812-8581, Japan and Nihon Trim Co., Ltd, 1-8-34 Kita-ku, Oyodonaka, Osaka 531-0076, Japan.

According to the two-stage cell transformation theory, cancer cells first receive initiation, which is mainly caused by DNA damage and then promotion, which enhance transformation. Murine Balb/c 3T3 cells have widely been used for transformation experiments because the cells lo se contact inhibition ability when transformed.

Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) is a health beneficial alkaline drinking water which contains high concentration of dissolved hydrogen and can scavenge intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS).

We have revealed that ERW contains a small amount of platinum nanocolloids as atomic hydrogen (active hydrogen) donors and ROS-scavengers. Therefore, ERW containing synthesized platinum nanocolloids (ERW/Pt) can be considered as a model of strong ERW.

Here, we report that ERW/Pt can prevent transformation of Balb/c 3T3 cells. ERW was prepared by electrolysis of 0.002 M NaOH solution using a batch-type electrolysis device (Type TI-200S, Nihon Trim Co., Osaka, Japan). BALB/c 3T3 cells were treated with 3-methyl cholantrene (MCA) as an initiation compound, followed by the treatment with phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA) as a promotion compound. Transformation focus was strongly suppressed by co-treatment of MCA/PMA and ERW/Pt. ERW/Pt suppressed the transformation at the stage of promoter but not at the stage of initiation, suggesting that it suppressed the augmentation of intracellular ROS by PMA.

  19. Electrolyzed reduced water scavenges active oxygen species and protects DNA from oxidative damage.

Biochem. Biophys. Res. Commun., 234, 269174, 1997Dr. Sanetaka Shirahata, S. et al Graduate school of Genetic Resources Technology , Kyushu University , 6-10-1 Hakozaki, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka 812-8581, Japan.
It has long been established that reactive oxygen species (ROS) cause many types of damage to biomolecules and cellular structures that, in turn result in the development of a variety of pathologic states such as diabetes, cancer and aging. Reduced water is defined as anti-oxidative water produced by reduction of water. Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) has been demonstrated to be hydrogen-rich water and can scavenge ROS in vitro (Shirahata et al., 1997).

The reduction of proton in water to active hydrogen (atomic hydrogen, hydrogen radical) that can scavenge ROS is very easily caused by a weak current, compared to oxidation of hydroxyl ion to oxygen molecule. Activation of water by magnetic field, collision, minerals etc. will also produce reduced water containing active hydrogen and/or hydrogen molecule. Several natural waters such as Hita Tenryosui water drawn from deep underground in Hita city in Japan, Nordenau water in Germany and Tlacote water in Mexico are known to alleviate various diseases.

We have developed a sensitive method by which we can detect active hydrogen existing in reduced water, and have demonstrated that not only ERW but also natural reduced waters described above contain active hydrogen and scavenge ROS in cultured cells. ROS is known to cause reduction of glucose uptake by inhibiting the insulin-signaling pathway in cultured cells. Reduced water scavenged intracellular ROS and stimulated glucose uptake in the presence or absence of insulin in both rat L6 skeletal muscle cells and mouse 3T3/L1 adipocytes. This insulin-like activity of reduced water was inhibited by wortmannin that is specific inhibitor of PI-3 kinase, a key molecule in insulin signaling pathways. Reduced water protected insulin-responsive cells from sugar toxicity and improved the damaged sugar tolerance of type 2 diabetes model mice, suggesting that reduced water may improve insulin-independent diabetes mellitus. Cancer cells are generally exposed to high oxidative stress. Reduced water cause impaired tumor phenotypes of human cancer cells, such as reduced growth rate, morphological changes, reduced colony formation ability in soft agar, passage number-dependent telomere shortening, reduced binding abilities of telomere binding proteins and suppressed metastasis. Reduced water suppressed the growth of cancer cells transplanted into mice, demonstrating their anti-cancer effects in vivo. Reduced water will be applicable to not only medicine but also food industries, agriculture, and manufacturing industries.

Abstract: Certain minerals can produce alkaline reduced water with high pH and low oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) when dissolved in water. Alkaline reduced water (ARW) showed significant anticancer effect. When B16 melanoma cells were inoculated subcutaneously and intra-peritoneally, C56BL/6 mice fed with ARW showed tumor growth delay and the survival span was significantly lengthened. ARW also showed the inhibition of metastasis by reducing the numbers of B16 melanoma colonies when injected through tail vein. The amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was very reduced when fed with ARW except for spleen, which is a major organ for immunity. Even for normal mice, ARW intake invoked systemic cytokines, such
as, Th1 (IFN-g, IL-12) and Th2 (IL-4, IL-5), suggesting strong immuno-modulation effect. Both ROS scavenging effect and immuno-modulation effect might be responsible for anticancer effect of alkaline reduced water.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a key mediator of tumor angiogenesis. Tumor cells are exposed to higher oxidative stress compared to normal cells. Numerous reports have demonstrated that the intracellular redox (oxidation/reduction, ORP) state is closely associated with the pattern of VEGF expression. Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) produced near the cathode during the electrolysis of water scavenged intracellular H(2)O(2) and decreased the release of H(2)O(2) from a human lung adenocarcinoma cell line, A549, and down-regulated both VEGF transcription and protein secretion in a time-dependent manner. To investigate the signal transduction pathway involved in regulating VEGF expression, mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) specific inhibitors, SB203580 (p38 MAPK inhibitor), PD98059 (ERK1/2 inhibitor) and JNKi (c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase inhibitor) were applied. The results showed that only PD98059 blocks VEGF expression, suggesting an important role for ERK1/2 in regulating VEGF expression in A549 cells. As well, ERW inhibited the activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) in a time-dependent manner. Co-culture experiments to analyze in vitro tubule formation assay revealed that A549 cell-derived conditioned medium significantly stimulated the formation of vascular tubules in all analyzed parameters; tubule total area, tubule junction, number of tubules, and total tubule length. ERW counteracted the effect of A549 cell-conditioned medium and decreased total tube length (p<0.01). The present study demonstrated that ERW down-regulated VEGF gene transcription and protein secretion through inactivation of ERK.

  23. Higher pH makes chemotherapy less toxic to cells:

    Abstract
The influence of pH on the untitumor activity of drugs used for intravesical chemotherapy was studied. A human continuous cell line derived from a transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder was exposed to 6 drugs (Adriamycin [doxbrubicin], cisplatin, epirubicin, epodyl, mitomycin C, and thiotepa) for 1 hour at 11 pH values ranging from 5.2 to 9.7, and cytotoxicity was measured by inhibition of colony formation. pH had a marked influence on drug activity: cisplatin, mitomycin C, and thiotepa were most cytotoxic in acid media, Adriamycin, and epirubicin in alkaline media, while epodyl was the only drug whose cytotoxicity was unaffected by pH. In addition to these in vitro studies, comparisons were made of the pH of urine samples obtained from patients immediately before and at the completion of intravesical chemotherapy. Changes in pH up to a maximum of ± 1.6 units were observed, although in most cases, values were similar before and after therapy. All the drugs used were acidie in solution, with the exception of thiotepa. It is concluded that by adjusting solvent and urine pH to the optimum value for each drug, the effectiveness of intravesical chemotherapy might be enhanced.

  25. Kangen water protecting mice from liver damage:

    Abstract
The study investigated the protective effect of electrolyzed reduced water (ERW) against carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced liver damage. Male ICR mice were randomly divided into control, CCl4, CCl4 + silymarin, and CCl4 + ERW groups. CCl4-induced liver lesions include leukocytes infiltration, hepatocyte necrosis, ballooning degeneration, mitosis, calcification, fibrosis and an increase of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and aminotransferase (AST) activity. In addition, CCl4 also significantly decreased the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px). By contrast, ERW or silymarin supplement significantly ameliorated the CCl4-induced liver lesions, lowered the serum levels of hepatic enzyme markers (ALT and AST) and increased the activities of SOD, catalase, and GSH-Px in liver. Therefore, the results of this study show that ERW can be proposed to protect the liver against CCl4-induced oxidative damage in mice, and the hepatoprotective effect might be correlated with its antioxidant and free radical scavenging effect.

  26. Here is a study with direct evidence that Kangen water prevents cancer:

    Abstract
In the two-stage cell transformation theory, cancer cells first receive initiation, which is mainly caused by DNA damage, and then promotion, which enhances transformation. Murine Balb/c 3T3 cells are widely used for transformation experiments because they lose contact inhibition ability when transformed. Electrolyzed reduced water (ERW), which is produced near a cathode during electrolysis of water, is an alkaline drinking water that is beneficial to health. ERW contains a high concentration of dissolved hydrogen and scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS), along with a small amount of platinum (Pt) nanoparticles (Pt nps) derived from Pt-coated titanium electrodes. Pt nps stably disperse in aqueous solution for a long time, and convert hydrogen molecules to active hydrogen (atomic hydrogen) that can scavenge ROS. Therefore, ERW supplemented with synthesized Pt nps is a model strong reduced water. This is the first report that ERW supplemented with synthesized Pt nps strongly prevents transformation of Balb/c 3T3 cells. ERW was prepared by electrolysis of 0.002 M NaOH solution using a batch-type electrolysis device. Balb/c 3T3 cells were treated with 3-methyl cholanthrene (MCA) as an initiation substance, followed by treatment with phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA) as a promotion substance. MCA/PMA-induced formation of a transformation focus was strongly suppressed by ERW supplemented with Pt nps but not by ERW or Pt nps individually. ERW supplemented with Pt nps suppressed transformation at the promoter stage, not at initiation, suggesting that ERW supplemented with Pt nps suppressed the PMA-induced augmentation of intracellular ROS. ERW supplemented with Pt nps is a potential new antioxidant against carcinogenesis.

Mass spectrographic and isotope studies have shown that potassium, rubidium, and especially cesium are most efficiently taken up by cancer cells. This uptake was enhanced by Vitamins A and C as well as salts of zinc and selenium. The quantity of cesium taken up was sufficient to raise the cell to the 8 pH range. Where cell mitosis ceases and the life of the cell is short. Tests on mice fed cesium and rubidium showed marked shrinkage in the tumor masses within 2 weeks. In addition, the mice showed none of the side effects of cancer. Tests have been carried out on over 30 humans. In each case the tumor masses disappeared. Also all pains and effects associated with cancer disappeared within 12 to 36 hr; the more chemotherapy and morphine the patient had taken, the longer the withdrawal period. Studies of the food intake in areas where the incidences of cancer are very low showed that it met the requirements for the high pH therapy.

I’m not really buying it Alex. Because if pricing is the rationing method in a well-implemented system, then both the people who rostered, and the people who didn’t roster ought to gain. So there ought not be costs to those who roster. Rather in a well-implemented system they ought to gain as well. So you add the gains to the guys who keep driving during peak-time, add that to the gains to the fellows who can now drive their motorbike, scooter, or bicycle safely during peak-time (WITHOUT CHARGE), and add that to the gains made by the people who roster away from peak-time. Add again the greater productivity of capital gained from having people stretch out their work day.

So its about adding gain to gain to gain. Just like when they allowed the prices to rise behind the iron curtain. Done properly it ought to have been about gain plus gain plus gain. And to some extent in some places it was.

So I’m reading the rest of what you say on the thread and to my mind you are both under-selling the possibilities of a well-run scheme, and trying to be too polite as to what the real problems are.

NEOCLASSICAL HANDICAP OF STATIC ANALYSIS. ITS NOT ABOUT CONSUMER-SURPLUS. ITS ABOUT EFFECTIVENESS IN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

So for example your focus is pretty much consumer-oriented. Now it might not be axiomatic that transport costs ought to drop with any new scheme. But it would be a pretty good benchmark to have in the light of THE LENGTHENING OF THE STRUCTURE OF PRODUCTION.

A progressing economy progresses via the furtherance of the division of labour. But also and most crucially through THE LENGTHENING OF THE STRUCTURE OF PRODUCTION.

This implies disproportionately more transport in the first instance. So a simplistic notion of utiles lost and gained, and this simplistic notion formulated on the basis a focus on the consumer end of the structure of production, will prove misleading.

So whilst its not axiomatic that all innovations must lead to lower transport costs I would say in the implementation of this scheme that has to be a rock solid commitment. More miles driven at less cost. Perhaps down the track you might bring in nuances to the scheme that might lead to economising on mileage driven. But we must think about the lunacy of most of the folks pushing this scheme.

    TO BE CONTINUED.

  31. Ken Henry and that crowd will say that they are “open-minded” about cutting the excise on gasoline. But we know that they are evil. We know they are lying. They are not the least bit interested in reducing travelling costs. They are compulsive lying CO2-bedwetters and they wouldn’t want to reduce travelling costs in a blue fit.

Secondly they want to have a revenue-raising scheme. There is no use claiming it will offset other taxes if its a Ken Henry scheme. Subsidies to public transport must be ruled out entirely. There must be no compromise and the scheme must be opposed, unless the money goes to getting rid of payroll, increasing the tax free threshold, reducing company tax on retained earnings, and so forth.

    MORE LATER.

  32. While all of you are understating the possibilities of a well-run setup, each and every one of you is being evasive about the real problem.

THEY WILL FUCK IT UP. We know for a fact they will. So we must oppose this scheme tooth and nail while being honest enough to admit the possibilities.

Now supposing I go over to South America and come back with the ghost of Allende. I then make sure this ghost gets to possess the Prime Minister or others of influence.

Clearly there will be people who would wish to have this scheme to control us all. Next thing you will have the building of the scheme subcontracted to a globalist front company, and Ken Henry cheering all the way.

There are many POTENTIAL benefits to having this scheme. But this is like saying that there are many benefits to crime-prevention for this exact same scheme. Its true. If you had all that transport data, the only serial-killer would be a bicycle rider. It would become the case of the famous bicycle-murderer. But then anyone who doesn’t think that this is a threat to our liberty, just because of the POTENTIAL crime-fighting advantages is plain nutty.

So it goes for the economic arguments. They will screw it up. We know they will already. They already have.

    MORE LATER

  33. The way forward for implementation would be to, in the first instance, come pretty close to aiming at maximising total cargo-miles driven. In transition this would be safer to aim at, to cut out the many sado-Pigouvian tendencies …… and perhaps a more sensible middle ground might be morphed to as time went on.

  34. Lets lay down something that Harry says and I’ll have something to say about it later:

    “Alex

I thought you had some abstruse theorem I hadn’t heard of but when you write of the gains from externalising a congestion externality:

“That number could be positive or negative. If it is positive then there is a social benefit from imposing the particular price; if not, there is a social loss”

    and you continue

“The fact that congestion is priced and is reduced does not automatically mean that we’ll be better off. There is nothing to guarantee that the price won’t end up being so high that it actually makes society worse off, even if congestion is reduced – hence we have Henry’s point that reducing congestion is not a sensible policy goal”

I can see you are just confused. That there are gains is a theorem that has nothing to do with whether the congestion charge is small or large. You always get a gain. If the charge is large you just have lots of congestion and hence need a large charge.

When I got to your clearly wrong claim I thought you were referring to transaction costs of pricing – but you were not – you mention this as a separate issue at the end.

Unlike you Henry Ergas was talking about such costs – he would not be so careless as to contradict a basic result in environmental economics that internalising an externality with a Pigovian tax always provides potential Pareto gains. The gains in revenue from the tax are always greater than the consumer surplus losses to commuters.”

“Attempt not to be a disingenuous science illiterate Grumpy. Clearly when conmen are lying to the public its important to point this FACT out.”

Graeme, try and answer the question this time, just what are the science qualifications you possess that allow you to call people illiterates and liars? Are these qualifications the same ones that allowed you to develop your cancer cure which you mentioned on another article at The Drum.

“I have a different view of what science is all about.”

Aaaahh yes – that would be the Expanding Earth Theory and the Starchild wouldn’t it?

OKAY MALCOLM. Perhaps this one time only. If the moderators let it through and don’t decide to give you the last word as usual:

    The expanding earth is proven.

1.In stupid “science” matter gets created ex-nihilo, and then high-tails it away from where it is now. This happens with the fictional photon. But it also happens in the imaginary big bang. In reality nothing created ex-nihilo, or converted from mere “stuff” to matter (matter locked into the gravitational network) would want to burst forth anywhere. It would stay where it is was created/converted.

    2. We look around us and we see matter through-out the universe. We have to think about how it got there. What we can be sure of is that it was converted/created over time (ie not all at once which is brazenly irrational and superstitious) and that it was converted ON-LOCATION. We see from the above reasoning that a priori; growing earth is almost a philosophical necessity.

    3. We have rightful certainty only by convergent evidence, and by no other means, and convergent evidence proves growing earth theory outright. The apriori case is there. The convergent evidence is there. And all other explanations are proven wrong. Here is a small sample of the convergent evidence:

The oceans are young. Subduction is minimal (and its not really subduction as such). The continents fit together both ways. The mid-ocean ridge keeps erupting and spewing out material. Our atmosphere is maintained though it is clear we must be losing it to space all the time. The continents keep moving apart. The dinosaurs were too big to have evolved that size, whether or not they could function, if gravity was as it is today (many of them clearly could not). We can see the stretch marks of growth on Mars, the moon and elsewhere.

    4. The belief in continental drift, plate tectonics, or in fact any other theory then growing earth ….. is hampered by the fact that the believers cannot draw force vectors to show what forces are being exerted to move the continents around. The continents could not move around the way they do by any forces other than growing earth.

    5. As far as qualifications I could quote Oscar Wilde at customs. But the fact is the global warming fraud is a transparent fraud. You don’t need to be smart to see through it. Which is why it constitutes an unacceptable ethics breach by those who are busy pushing it.

    6. The philosopher over-rides the field worker in all but the field workers specialty and climate science is multi-disciplinary. Field workers are not Field Marshalls. Specialisation is for insects and not for conceptualists.

  36. “Jase:

These issues about bottlenecks etc are basically a lot to do with human limitations.”

No stop it Cambria. The bottleknecks are about socialist provision, excluding the normal price rationing. Thats what they are about. Don’t talk nonsense mate.

We decide if a road is private or public. Is it Cliff Richard or Def Leopard? Once we decide that a road is fundamentally socialist, then the pricing must be PEAK-TIME-PROFITEERING. This is the way to price all government-owned gear.

We must come to this conclusion with or without Pigou. Externalities don’t necessarily come into it. Thats merely one prism to look at the problem through. Actually one of the least legitimate, since charging for externalities is a third-best way of solving any problem of externalities. Pigouvian charging is actually a rotten way to do things and ought to be considered only in extreme situations of the moment. But the fact is the roads don’t spring forth from the ground. And we haven’t sorted out a rational mode of private provision. When I tried to talk about that subject I ran right into a brick wall of stupidity.

So we ask is the road private or public. Yes or no. A public private partnership ought never be considered or allowed. Private provision of roads ought to be rules-base but not on the basis of freehold property rights.

Since no-one is interested in the latter, it follows that for the time being the roads ought to be socialist, and charged under peak-time profiteering.

Reducing travelling costs consists of reducing all charges that add to travelling costs, and throwing everything onto peak-time profiteering with congestion charges.

Only then will you get the innovation to overcome the bottle-knecks by means other than rostering.
