Obama seems to have stumbled on an idea that has some potential, and might have actually worked had it been applied with vigor from the fall of the iron curtain. Here are some assumptions.
1. Fully repressive societies cannot survive without killing civilains.
2. War, shorn of its persecution of civilians, isn’t the worst thing in the world.
3. America wasn’t in any position to become a full-blown world policeman.
4. Collective security leads to all sorts of problems.
If the Americans acted, for the most part, like Switzerland, but simply punished regimes for not following Queensberry rules, then that could have saved a lot of lives. Hardly great geostrategy but nonetheless a way of thinking that has some merit too it.
For my part I don’t place as much importance as I used to on American geo-strategy, since its manifest that America is a captured nation. A nation in servitude to some sort of covert-operations/money creation NEXUS. The precise nature of which is a little hard to ascertain.
And it ought not be inferred that having an open mind to Barry Soetoro’s recent performance implies that he’s a legitimate President, or even a legitimate American. He was appointed precisely BECAUSE he was an illegal candidate. There were other reasons for it of course. But what with the panic of the 9/11 culprits waking up to being busted with the astounding advent of youtube …. you expect them to go into panic mode.
